This page contains various images that I've created during my researches. The images are followed by a short explanation of what the image is.

This is an image of the electrostatic potential of an infinite array of CdS/CdSe/CdS quantum well quantum dots. The energy spectrum and eigenfunctions of a single electron in a single dot are calculated using a program created by Craig Pryor. From this, electron and hole states are combined in a program I created to form a large array (here, 4 neighbors in each direction are used, plus one to wrap around properly using periodic boundary conditions) and used as a charge density to calculate the electrostatic potential of the array. This is an image from a test run, so I won't provide further information on it at this time.
